I used Premier surgery center for my back pain. Dr Kim performed the Intracept procedure on my visit. From the moment I entered the facility I was greeted and helped with the check in process. The nursing staff was very professional and friendly getting me ready for my surgery. Dr. Mike is a great anesthesiologist and I appreciated his bedside manner! My surgery went very well and I look forward to having less pain as I heal! Thank you Dr. Kim and your staff for a great experience !
Excellent team of individuals who really take care of you. I trust them because they all know what they are doing. Keep up the great work
All the employees are competent and helpful. The new facility is welcoming and well designed.

Pros: 1. Nice admin. and medical staff Cons: 1. Anesthesiologist gave me too much anesthesia AFTER I told him in our consult about my concern with receiving too much anesthesia due to my weight. 😡 2. After being given too much anesthesia, the nurses had a VERY hard time waking me up (my cousin who was there with me can verify everything I’m about to say). They had me sucking down apple juice and water in an attempt to wake me up. Minutes later I threw it all up. I’ve NEVER had adverse reactions to anesthesia. The pain was so EXCRUCIATING, it was obvious to me that I wasn’t given ANY TYPE OF PAIN MEDICATION, which is INHUMANE TREATMENT! I couldn’t put ANY WEIGHT on my surgical leg/knee, as they attempted to have me walk out of the facility and into the car, where my cousin said I immediately passed out (from sleep). The next thing I remember after leaving the center was being schlepped into my bedroom and painstakingly getting into bed. The PROBLEM was that I was the last patient to leave the center (because I couldn’t wake up!!!). The center closed at 5pm. By the time they got me in the car it was 7pm. They were more than ready to go. I can understand that. I don’t blame them. I blame whoever’s decision it was to have my surgery done at a surgical center. This was my 2nd TKR surgery. My first TKR surgery (on the other knee) was done 4 months ago by the same doctor but in the HOSPITAL where I stayed overnight and had the total OPPOSITE EXPERIENCE of what I had at this surgical center. I DON’T CARE WHAT THE MEDICAL RESEARCH SAYS ABOUT PATIENTS REHABBING FASTER AT HOME. IF I EVER HAVE ANOTHER SURGERY (God forbid!) I VEHEMENTLY REFUSE TO HAVE IT DONE AT AN OUTPATIENT SURGICAL CENTER, AND DEFINITELY NOT AT PREMIERE SURGICAL CENTER SAN BERNARDINO!! 😡😡
